Treadsection and Legs Progress Report Part Two

Work this week as gone very well - After weeks of learning and planning - this part of the project is finally starting to look like a robot again.  I should mention that most of the contruction has been done with 1/4 - 20 machine screws in lengths of 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", and 2".  It gets a little trick with the Hip Motor mount - I had a couple of screws that ended up at the same place on different sides.  But, everything did go together very nicely.  One thing I should point out is that everything will get a nice coat of primer and paint - once I know that everything is work fine.  Here's the pictures for the week -

The completed Hip Motor Mount

Here's some shots of the linkage at the motor's end - The part on the left is from the original work done by Mike, I had to get it shortened in width a little and had the set screws added.

Here I got the frame work finally cut, drilled, and in place.

As you can see - I had a little problem with the hinge screws - but I was able to work around it.

It's starting to look like a set of legs - Neat!

That's it for now.
