Treadsection and Legs Progress Report Part Three

Work has continued in this area with the addition of the torso rotation motor, the hip sensor, and the beginning work of finishing the donut.  I have also done a power test with the hip motor and it works great.  I'm not sure, but it almost looks like this new set up will have B9Greg bending forward more than what he did before.  Here's this weeks pictures.

Before I could make the mounts for the torso rotation motor - I had to know just where the donut/lazy susan assembly was going to be sitting.  Here, I have centered the lazy susan and I'm going to draw a circle on the inside.

Having the circle drawn will allow me to mount the torso rotation motor knowing that the mounts will not be in the way of the donut/lazy susan assembly.

I had to trim the pieces a little to get them to fit within the circle.

The Hip Sensor - I will have to do a final alignment once everything is wired up and running.

The donut as it is now, as you can see - I have cut out the center so that I can put in the lazy susan assembly and I have started finishing the out side of the donut with bondo.

This is my old leg support system that B9Greg used.  They now have a new purpose -

They make a great place to keep B9Greg's new and fantastic legs from Will Huff!!!

That's it for now.
